Adoption Process.

Wowzers Mini Schnauzers uses a reservation-based adoption process. Reserving a puppy is free. When one of our breeding pups gets pregnant, their expected due date is announced and published on our website and socials.
Those at the top of the reservation list get first pick of that and can chose to select a puppy, or wait for a future litter. You may select your puppy using photos and Facetime\Duo meetings, where you will meet both parents and all puppies. Once you have made your final decision, you will place a $500 deposit down to secure your puppy-pal. The deposit is fully refundable if for some unforeseen reason you are unable to complete the adoption process. The remaining balance is due at the time of pickup. You can come pick up your puppy at a minimum of eight weeks after birth, but in the meantime, we will provide weekly updates such as pictures, weight and milestones. When you are ready to pick up your puppy, we will send each one home with their very own tote bag. Inside you will find a folder that contains all vet records, AKC paperwork, a litter certificate, plus other useful information about adopting a new puppy. We also provide a small Ziploc bag of dry food, and two small cans of wet food, a chew bone, a toy and a small blanket with mom’s scent. |
